What is Mine

Just finished a killer diller of a novel, “What is Mine” by Anne Holt, an author from Norway.  It involves a profiler named Johanne Vik and a police detective named Adam Stubo.  It is the first in a three book series.  I am hoping there will be  more books after the third, she can’t give up after only three!

The plot is very exciting.  A person is kidnapping children then killing them and returning them to the parents. But there is one child that the killer seems to be keeping and it is a race against time to try and find the child alive.  It really is a fast paced read and a wonderful addition to the suspense drama.  I read it in only a day and a half!

Yes, that meant that I spent all day yesterday on the sofa reading.  I read for hours.  Sometimes I get into my nesting moods and just keep turning the pages.   This morning I started “The Serpent’s Tale”  by Ariana Franklin, the second in that series.   All involving Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine.   Good stuff.

Well, gotta get back at it!

I may have to check it out! Nothing wrong with sitting on the couch, waiting for Winter to end; reading a book!
